Target audience and ways i would advertise my thriller

Although our target audience is teenagers, we still have to think about our secondary target audience.  They will be older and will discover films in different ways to teenagers, even though they may not actually watch the film it is still important we target them so they have the chance to talk about it and decide if they think it looks like a film they would want to watch. The way we would advertise for teenagers would be adverts on movies in a similar genre, therefore people who like similar types of thrillers will like the look of ours. We would also advertise on :

  • YouTube adverts
  • social media would be a key way of advertising for teenagers because teenagers are constantly on social media sites like twitter, Facebook etc
  •  Billboards
  • Magazines e.g. empire magazine
  •  Radio interviews with actor’s teenagers may like about a film.
  • Social media alternate reality games
  • Media and press e.g.radio

For our secondary target audience we would advertise by:

  • · Newspaper articles
  •  Reviews
  • Tv chat shows (perhaps even shows the older generation often watch like The One Show )
  • Magazines
  • Billboards
  • Flyers
  • National press

Costume Ideas for "Snatched"

Sophia

Perhaps Sophia could wear something like this above ^ I looked on Ebay and found many things which we could order which would be suitable for Sohia to wear. I think if Sohia wears a navy dress it would work well because navy dress`s are very conservative and quite smart. This is how we want to portray Sophia.I think a bow in her hair would also look good as bows often make children look younger and more innocent. I was inspired by the idea of Matilda who always wore a bow in her
Patricia  hair.
We could order one from ebay because it is very cheap and we do not have a huge budget to spend.

This bow would suit our character Sophia extremely well. I think we should order it as its only 99p for 5 bows-great value!

Patricia(nanny)

I think Patricia should look proffesional and neutral. A long black skirt and a blazer would be fine to use and her hair should look tidy and proffesional. We researched many films with nannys in and Mary Poppins ans The sound of Music (Maria ) sprung to mind. Although their outifts would be too old fashioned we were inspired by them. E.g. black neutral colours ,proffesional blazer .

We told our actress what we were looking for and she said she had the perfect outfit so she will wear  something similar to what we had in mind. Black colours so she doesnt attract to much attention and she will be more mysterious and proffesional.

Dimitri

We dont think we will have any close up shots to create more mystery about the character of Dimitri in our opening sequence, however it is still important what he would wear and wears. I think a typical bad boy, russina ,mafia style outfit would suit his character perfectly, for example, a leather jacket and dark colours which connote evil ,not happy bright colours.
Real life example :

and

These outfits would be perfect for the russian antagonist Dimitri in our thriller "snatched"

Ilya Brodski

We want Ilya to look like a buisnessman but at home on his normal day to day life. He isa  middle class, russian and fairly stereotypical wealthy buisnessman and the photo below portrays what sor of thing i have in mind for Ilya to wear. We casted a man who is a similar age because we think older characters make the film more realistic and give it more credibility.
